Monitors of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe have left for the Donetsk airport district, OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) spokesperson Iryna Gudyma told Interfax.
SMM monitors are going to Donetsk airport in order to monitor the operations of the joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire and the line of contact, she said.
OSCE monitors tried to visit the Donetsk airport area on Wednesday, but their trip was postponed for security reasons because of continuous shelling, she said.
The joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire and stabilization efforts along the line of contact in Donbas includes representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff and the Russian Armed Forces.
