The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Anne Brasseur, will pay a working visit to Ukraine on January 15-16, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.
"The PACE chief, Anne Brasseur, will be in Ukraine on a working visit on January 15-16 at Ukraine's invitation," he said at a briefing on Wednesday.
The visit will be held on the eve of the PACE January session which is due to hear a report on the humanitarian situation concerning Ukrainian refugees and displaced persons, the spokesman said.
"Among the central issues on the [session’s] agenda is the review of the credentials of the Russian delegation to PACE," Perebyinis added.
