Poroshenko to discuss financial assistance and defense issues during bilateral meetings in Davos
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos through January 21-24, deputy head of presidential administration Valeriy Chaly said on Channel Five on Monday.
He said that a number of bilateral meetings on finance and defense issues are on president's agenda.
"These meetings were planned long ago….visits to the economic forum and security forum in Munich. The president will have a rather dense timetable [in Davos], a speech at the forum, as well as during the bilateral meetings which will focus on financial, security and defense issues, so to say from the point of view of economic security and energy security, these are the key tasks. Even now I can confirm ten bilateral meetings [are on president's agenda]," Chaly said.
