PACE Presidential Committee to visit Ukraine for meetings with authorities
The Presidential Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) plans to visit Kyiv.
According to the press service of the organization, the visit is scheduled for January 15-16.
During the visit, committee members are planning to meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Hroisman, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, the leaders of parliamentary factions, as well as members of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE.
The Presidential Committee includes the PACE president, the leaders of five political groups, as well as the PACE secretary general.
As reported, on January 26-30, Strasbourg will host another PACE session, during which, in particular, it is planned to hold a debate on the report on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
