Latvian foreign minister to meet with Poroshenko, Yatseniuk and Klimkin in Kyiv on Saturday
Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics will make a working visit to Ukraine on Saturday, reads a statement posted on the website of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.
"On January 10, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevics will be on a working visit to Kyiv. The minister is to meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin," reads the statement.
According to the ministry's press service, the meeting will address current developments in Ukraine, the course of the implementation of reforms, and bilateral relations between Latvia and Ukraine. Special attention will be devoted to issues of dealing with the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
The visit will also include meetings with the media.
