Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have discussed the measures to settle the situation in eastern Ukraine in the context of a possible meeting between the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France in Astana in the near future.
"The leaders of the two countries reiterated that all parties involved need to closely follow the Minsk agreements, which will promote further peaceful settlement and confidence-building," the Kazakh presidential press service reported on Friday.
