OSCE notes worsening of situation in eastern Ukraine
The OSCE special monitoring mission in its report, published on January 6, noted that the situation in the ATO area in Donbas is deteriorating.
According to the report, from 0800 on January 4 till 0800 on January 5 the ceasefire was violated 69 times, on 32 occasions by Ukrainian troops, 37 – by gunmen from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
According to the report, most of the attacks took place near Donetsk airport, at the southern entrance to Pisky village, and within the village itself. Shootings also took place near the settlements of Nikishyne, Chernukhyne, and Debaltseve.
