Some progress made at meeting on resolving Ukrainian crisis – German Foreign Ministry
A meeting in the "Normandy format" between Germany-France-Russia-Ukraine senior diplomats in Berlin made some progress, Deutsche Welle TV and radio company reported on Tuesday.
The meeting at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin on Monday demonstrated that the parties made definite steps towards resolving the crisis.
The conversation between the representatives of the four countries was constructive and made some progress, however answers too many questions still need to be found, the German Foreign Ministry reported.
Consultations between the diplomats are to continue soon.
The foreign ministers of the four countries agreed to hold the meeting in the "Normandy format" during a telephone conference last Friday.
The leaders of Germany, Ukraine, France and Russia may also meet soon, writes Deutsche Welle.
