The European Parliament will discuss the situation in Ukraine on January 13.
Upon the preliminary agenda of the EP session, MEPs will listen to the speech of first EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton (who occupied this position from December 2009 until November 2014).
Besides, the relative resolution will be adopted on the results of the discussion on January 15.
As reported, the EP passed its last resolution over Ukraine on September 18. The document urged to review a strategy policy regarding Russia and to toughen sanctions. In the document the European politicians stated that the Association Agreement with Ukraine wasn't an ultimate aim of the relations with Kyiv.
