Kyiv report shelling in Donbas over 24 hours

From 18:00 on Thursday militants attacked 16 times and shelled Ukrainian military positions, the antiterrorist operation (ATO) press center has reported.

"Using small arms, grenade launchers and mortars, militants shelled Donetsk airport last night. Small arms were used against the village of Chernukhyne, and mortars were fired against Stary Aidar, Zolote, Popasna, as well as the outskirts of Vuhlehirsk and Chermalyk," the press center said on its Facebook page.

According to the press center, Ukrainian army positions near the Poltavska Mine, as well as the villages of Leninske, Olenivka, Zolote and Olkhovatka came under fire on five occasions.
