Turchynov: Inter should be immediately deprived of broadcasting license
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has said that the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting should immediately deprive the Inter television channel of a broadcasting license for "a mockery of the whole country."
"In the New Year's Eve, when the whole nation felt unity, the Inter television channel traditionally acted against the Ukrainian state by broadcasting a concert of people who mocked our country, supporting terrorists and welcoming the seizure of Crimea and Donbas," the National Security and Defense Council's website quoted Turchynov as saying on Thursday.
He said that the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting should "immediately consider revoking the license of the Inter television channel, which became part of the information war against Ukraine."
Turchynov described the New Year's night on Inter as "a mockery of the whole country."
