Poroshenko signs law repealing Ukraine's non-aligned status
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law abolishing Ukraine's non-aligned status.
"I plan to sign a law called the law on Changes to some legislative acts on changing the non-aligned status of Ukraine, for which more than the constitutional majority voted, now, at this press conference," Poroshenko told a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
After that, the president signed the law. Poroshenko said Ukraine will conduct some reforms to meet the standards of the NATO countries and 'the people will decide on the matter" only after that.
