Meeting in Normandy format on Ukraine issue will be held in Astana on January 15 - Poroshenko
The next meeting in the Normandy format on resolving the situation in Ukraine will be held in Astana on January 15, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.
"My diplomatic year will begin on January 15 in Astana, where a meeting in the Normandy format will be held. A relevant agreement has already been reached," he told a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
The president said the foreign ministers of the countries who are taking part in the negotiations have been ordered to prepare the agenda and draft decisions made at this summit.
The Normandy format envisages the participation of the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany.
