Ukrainian Security Council secretary: Martial law may be imposed on Ukraine

Martial law might be imposed on Ukraine if the efforts to peacefully settle the crisis in Donbas do not produce the desired result, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said.

"If the peaceful format produces no result, we won't have an alternative," Turchynov said in an interview on Channel 5 on Friday evening.
