Yatseniuk: Parliament should approve first reform package of 15 bills at its next meeting
The Verkhovna Rada, after completing the review of documents in the concerned committees, should adopt the first reform package of 15 bills at its next meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"Meetings are being held today in all concerned committees of the parliament, and the ball is now in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's court. The time for sweeping criticism is over, as it's necessary to first read the laws and only then express your opinion on them... At the next meeting of parliament we have to adopt the first package of 15 laws at first reading. The laws on which we have no disagreements should be adopted at first reading and as a whole," he said, while opening a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Yatseniuk also said that all government members would be involved in the work of the concerned committees.
