Ukraine ready to formalize another Russian humanitarian convoy if international, Ukrainian laws observed – NSDC
Ukraine is ready to take part in formalizing the cargo of the Russian humanitarian convoy if Russia observes all the requirements of international and Ukrainian laws, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has said.
"The Ukrainian interagency group is ready to participate in the border customs clearance of the goods, if the Russian Federation complies with all the requirements of the international and Ukrainian legislation," the deputy head of the NSDC information and analytical center, Volodymyr Poliovy, said at a briefing in Kyiv.
In addition, he said that six trucks with white flags and the flags of Russia on Friday at 2040 passed from the territory of Russia through the Izvaryne checkpoint towards Ukraine.
"The Russian side did not inform representatives of the Ukrainian interagency group about this cargo, explaining that the cargo is not humanitarian," he said.
