Andriy Melnyk appointed Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany - decree
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Andriy Melnyk Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany.
Corresponding decree No. 944/2014 has been posted on the official website of the president.
Earlier deputy head of the presidential administration Valeriy Chaly on his Facebook page wrote that Poroshenko during a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Kyiv on Friday introduced the newly appointed ambassador to the foreign minister of Germany.
Melnyk has been Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers since March 2014. Prior to that, he held the post of consul of Ukraine in Hamburg.
