Poroshenko considers Lukashenko's, Nazarbayev's forthcoming visit to Ukraine to be important, timely
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko believes that the upcoming visits of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko (December 21) and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev (December 22) to Ukraine are timely and important.
According to the official website of the Ukrainian president, Poroshenko said this during a telephone conversation with Nazarbayev on Friday night.
"Poroshenko invited Nazarbayev to visit Ukraine on Monday. The president of Kazakhstan accepted the invitation, noting that it will be an occasion to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, in particular economic cooperation and trade relations. The Ukrainian president stressed he considers the visit of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Belarus to be timely, important and symbolic," reads the report.
