Ukraine revival plan for 2015-2017 should be presented at donor conference
Speaker of the Ukrainian parliament Volodymyr Hroisman has said that the country needs not only financial but also institutional support for its reforms, from the European Union (EU).
"Ukraine has never conducted systemic reform, and institutional support is as important as financial," he said at a meeting with European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.
The press service of the Ukrainian parliament reported that the speaker said that the Ukraine revival plan for 2015-2017 was submitted to the new Cabinet of Ministers, and it is to be presented at a donor conference.
Mogherini said that the EU agreed with the necessity of providing institutional support to Ukraine, adding that the reforms will promote the provision of financial aid. Mogherini pointed out that the Ukrainian parliament plays an important role in the implementation of reform.
