Russia may start full-scale war at any time - Turchynov
Russia may begin a full-scale continental war at any time, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has said.
"The challenges facing our country today are serious and dangerous. The ceasefire that is constantly violated by Russian terrorist groups may at any moment turn into a new brutal confrontation. Russia may unleash a full-scale continental war. And this may happen at any time," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"We have no alternative to being ready for this. And our task, first and foremost, the task of the National Security and Defense Council, is to ensure the full mobilization of all available resources in the country, in order to build a powerful defense complex prepared to repel the aggressor and be fully prepared to completely liberate our territory," Turchynov said.
