Ukraine hopes to reach agreements with Russia on speeding up next meeting of contact group in Minsk
Valeriy Chaly, deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, said negotiations are possible with the Russian administration on the need to speed up a new meeting of the three-party Contact Group on the situation in Donbas in Minsk.
The meeting of the three-party contact group should be held this coming week, but its date has not been determined yet, Chaly told a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
"I think additional international negotiations may be held in the near future, including with the Russian president, so that Russia can be more active in this issue. This political decision will probably determine the possibility of negotiations," Chaly said.
Chaly did not specify the format of the negotiations.
