Ukrzaliznytsia has no plan to halt rail traffic to Russia
State Railways Administration of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia is not intending to halt rail traffic to the Russian Federation, the press service of the administration has told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to its data, from December 14 Russian Railways (RZD) will cancel the following trains running through Ukraine: Moscow-Sofia, Moscow-Budapest, Moscow-Odesa, Moscow-Kyiv (train No. 1/2), leaving the train running from Moscow to Chisinau.
The press service stressed that 19 trains formed by Ukrzaliznytsia would run between Ukraine and Russia in winter. In addition, train No. 1/2 Moscow-Kyiv, canceled by Russian Railways, will continue running as will be formed by Ukrzaliznytsia (formerly the train was formed jointly by Russian Railways and Ukrzaliznytsia).
