Contact group meeting on situation in Donbas to be held this week - source
A meeting of the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas is likely to take place by the end of this week, a source close to the talks has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The meeting will be held not on Tuesday, but at the end of the week," the source said.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko insists on the speedy holding of the contact group meeting so as to achieve a ceasefire on December 9.
The leadership of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, in turn, said that such a meeting was possible not earlier than December 12, as conditions had not yet been created for a truce in Donbas.
