Minsk ready to provide platform for Ukraine Contact Group meeting "within hours"

Minsk will prepare to host the next meeting of the trilateral Contact Group for the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine as soon as possible, Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik has said.

Belarus will be ready to provide the platform for such a meeting "within the shortest possible time - within hours," Mironchik said at a press briefing in Minsk on Thursday, after being asked how long it might take the Belarusian Foreign Ministry to respond to a joint request for a meeting of the Contact Group.
