RZD restricts freight shipments to Crimea through Kerch crossing by half
Russian Railways (RZD) is restricting freight shipments to Crimea via the Kerch ferry crossing by half until December 6, inclusive, the company said in a telegram.
RZD is making this move due to "a restriction on shipping traffic in the Kerch Strait because of unfavorable weather conditions," as well as "a higher than normal presence of freight" going across the crossing.
The restriction extends to all shipments for all receivers through Kavkaz-Crimea to stations of Crimean and Dnieper railways. The restriction was introduced on December 2.
