No amendments should be made to the text of the Minsk agreements on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, says former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, who is a member of a Ukraine-Russia-OSCE trilateral contact group on settling the crisis in Ukraine.
"I insist, and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko insists, that we have no right to amend a single provision of this text under any circumstances. This is a founding document, and if it were observed, we would live in a different country," Kuchma told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday.
