International audit companies to check operation of Defense Ministry's departments, enterprises, says Ukrainian president
International audit companies will check efficiency of operation of departments of the Defense Ministry and all enterprises under management of the ministry, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"The work with the world-famous companies Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers have been started to work out new management practices, transparent accounting and property delivery procedures and progressive logistics approaches. We urgently want the conclusions of the largest audit firms on the increase of efficiency of the operation of certain departments of the Defense Ministry," Poroshenko said, introducing Stepan Poltorak as nominee to defense minister.
The head of state said that international experts will carry out the diagnostics of operation of certain concerns and state enterprises.
