PACE President invites Hroisman for meeting to discuss reform process and further cooperation.
President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Anne Brasseur congratulated new Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman on his election and said she hoped to meet him soon to continue political dialogue and discuss the reform process and further cooperation.
This follows from her letter addressed to Hroisman, the press service of the Council of Europe reported.
She welcomed his [Hroisman's] call to make the Ukrainian parliament a "motor for reform," stressing that the large cross-party support for his election boded well for the effective and efficient work of the Verkhovna Rada.
"Our Assembly is committed to providing its political support to this process and wish you every success in this new and important role," she said as one may learn from the letter.
