Over 700 people missing in eastern Ukraine - NSDC

More than 700 people remain unaccounted for in Ukraine's eastern regions, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

"Over 700 people, including our servicemen, are listed as missing today. Clearly, all necessary measures are being taken to find them and help them return home," he said.

"However, we have been encountering difficulties such as the opposite side's [LPR's and DPR's] unwillingness to honor their agreements," Lysenko said.
