Dutch security and justice minister to attend farewell ceremony for Boeing crash victims in Kharkiv
Dutch Security and Justice Minister Ivo Opstelten will attend a farewell ceremony for the victims of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 plane crash, which will be held at the airfield of Kharkiv International Airport on Friday, the press service of Kharkiv Regional State Administration has reported.
"Six coffins with the bodies of the dead passengers of the downed Boeing-777 will be sent to the Netherlands. Dutch Security and Justice Minister Ivo Opstelten will arrive for the ceremony. Director of the Department of Economics and International Relations at Kharkiv Regional State Administration Viktor Kovalenko said this at a meeting with representatives of the international mission investigating the crash of Flight MH17," the press service said.
The commander of the combat unit of the joint investigation team probing the MH17 crash, Hans van de Ven, in turn, thanked the leadership of the region for help and support in organizing the farewell ceremony for the plane crash victims.
