One of defenders of Donetsk airport released – NSDC
One of imprisoned Ukrainian soldiers, who had been defending Donetsk airport, was released on Monday after being three month in militants' captivity, Spokesman of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko has said.
"Yesterday, one of the 'cyborgs' was released from captivity. This is our soldier, who was heroically defending Ukrainian positions on the territory of Donetsk airport. The man was held prisoner by the militants for three months," Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
