Ukrzaliznytsia Director General Ostapiuk resumes performing duties after completion of check

Director General of the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) Borys Ostapiuk has resumed performing his duties after the completion of the check by the State Financial Inspectorate of Ukraine, the head of the legal department at Ukrzaliznytsia Oleh Tytov has said.

"Due to the fact that under a cabinet resolution the director general was surcharged from office for the period of conducting the check finished on November 18, the order was signed on November 19 and 20, and the director general started performing his duties," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

He said that the State Financial Inspectorate checked the operation of the director general since the period when he started performing his duties and until recently.

"No fact of infringing Ukrainian law, illegal fund spending and purchase of goods at the increased cost was established," he said.
