Donbas graduates may get Ukrainian diplomas and certificates - Kvit
Ukrainian Education and Science Minister Serhiy Kvit has said that all graduates of higher educational institutions and schools in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas will be able to receive Ukrainian diplomas and certificates if they have such a desire.
"We will allow university graduates – these are, first and foremost, graduates of bachelor's and master's degree programs - as well as school graduates, to receive Ukrainian diplomas or certificates if they want to," he said at a roundtable in Kyiv on Monday, at which he presented a draft law on ensuring the right to education to persons who reside in the area of the anti-terrorist operation or moved from this area.
Kvit said that respective mechanisms would be developed.
