Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko gave up of the seat in the parliament, the politician's website reported on Friday.
The relative letter has been already submitted to the Central Election Commission.
"I reiterate that I will continue the work of Kyiv's mayor, I won't let Kyivans down, who trusted me to maintain their interests, and who lay hopes for changes and reforms. When I shouldered responsibility and led the united list, I brought my party members to the parliament – those politicians, who will meet expectations of not just Kyiv citizens, but those all over the country, and will do their best to provide necessary reforms," he said.
