Yatseniuk says number of officials in Kyiv should be reduced
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that it is necessary to reduce the number of officials in Kyiv.
"We have dismissed 10% of officials in the past six months. In the city of Kyiv you will have to do the same. I tell the whole country openly and publicly - I'm ready to share with you the political responsibility for unpopular decisions, including in Kyiv. There is no other option," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday, while addressing Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
