EU tells EC to enter DPR, LPR leaders on sanctions list by end of November

The European Union's Foreign Affairs Council on Monday instructed the EU External Action Service and European Commission to submit proposals by the end of November for extending the sanctions list and to add the leaders of the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics to it.

The EU Council released a statement on Ukraine after assessing the situation in that country, urging the EU's external action service and European Commission to submit proposals by the end of November on entering additional separatists on the sanctions list.
