Ukrainian, Polish presidents coordinate positions ahead of EU ministerial meeting
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has met with his Polish counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski on the sidelines of a Visegrad Group meeting in Bratislava, Slovakia.
"The presidents coordinated their positions ahead of a foreign ministerial meeting of the European Council to take place in Brussels on November 17," the Ukrainian presidential press service said.
The presidents also drew up a plan of joint steps to be taken before the end of this year. For instance, Poroshenko and his Polish colleague will pay a joint visit to Moldova on November 20.
"We intend to support Moldovan aspirations for integration with Europe," the Ukrainian president said.
There are plans for the Ukrainian president to visit Poland on December 17. He said the visit was being actively prepared for.
