EU uses OSCE and NATO reports in assessing situation in east Ukraine, Brussels says

The EU receives information about what is happening in eastern Ukraine from various sources, including the OSCE, which makes regular reports, Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson for EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, has said.
"The [EU] foreign ministers will discuss all the latest developments and the EU's response to the crisis [in Ukraine] on Monday," she said at a press briefing in Brussels on Thursday, recalling Mogherini's statement of November 9 in which she expressed the EU's concern about reports of military hardware moving into eastern Ukraine.
"We call on Russia to fully assume its responsibilities, including by preventing any further movement of military, weapons or fighters from its territory into Ukraine," Kocijancic said.
Among the sources of information the spokesperson named the EU Delegation to Ukraine and NATO.
Kocijancic evaded a direct answer regarding possible sanctions that may be discussed at a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on November 17, adding the EU, to the actions in the east of Ukraine, "responded in several ways, including by adopting restrictive measures."
"What we expect right now is the debate of the foreign ministers on the developments on the ground and the EU's response to these latest developments," she said.
