NATO commander says Russian military convoys entered eastern Ukraine
NATO has recorded the arrival in eastern Ukraine over the last two days of several convoys of military equipment and troops from Russia, NATO's supreme allied commander in Europe, General Philip Breedlove has said.
"Across the last two days we have seen the same thing that OSCE is reporting. We have seen columns of Russian equipment, primarily Russian tanks, Russian artillery, Russian air defense systems and Russian combat troops entering into Ukraine," the Western media quoted Breedlove as saying on Wednesday during his visit to Sofia.
