Ukraine to provide aid to Donbas, won't subsidize self-proclaimed republics
Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) plans to continue providing humanitarian aid to those who reside in eastern Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian state will ensure the supply of humanitarian aid to Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The people who live there and haven't yet managed to leave are not to blame for having found themselves in such a situation. At the same time, Ukraine won't provide the financing of these self-proclaimed formations [the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics]," NSDC Deputy Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko told reporters after an NSDC meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday.
