Law enforces detain two suspects in setting Kyiv's Zhovten movie theater on fire, says interior minister
Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said that on October 31, 2014 two suspects in setting the Kyiv's Zhovten movie theater on fire were detained – a student and his unemployed friend.
"After conducting the operation the police have detained two persons who set the Zhovten movie theater on fire: a student of a Kyiv educational institution and his unemployed friend," he wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.
Avakov said that the persons detained confessed to the crime. In addition, video surveillance cameras contain the proofs.
"During a search in the dormitory where the suspects lived three hand grenades were found," Avakov added.
At present, the issue of arresting the detain persons is being settled. The investigation continues – "we'll establish the persons who ordered the crime."
