With 80% of ballots counted, People's Front still leading in Ukraine polls – CEC
A tally of 80.17% of ballots cast in Ukraine's October 26 parliamentary election gives 21.94% of the vote to the People's Front and 21.6% of the vote to Petro Poroshenko's Bloc, according to the Ukrainian Central Election Commission (CEC).
The Samopomich movement from western Ukraine has received 11.06% of the vote, the Opposition Bloc 9.53%, the Radical Party 7.42%, and Batkivschyna 5.68%, it said.
The other political forces running in the elections have been unable to gain 5% of the vote needed to win parliamentary seats. However, Svoboda (Freedom) has come very close to the electoral threshold with 4.71% of the vote.
