Voter turnout in Luhansk region 22.4% as of 1500, says official
As of 1500 a total of 22.4% of voters casted their ballots in Luhansk region, Head of Luhansk Regional Administration Hennadiy Moskal wrote on the official Web site.
"The election on the territory of Luhansk region is held quietly, no incidents are reported. However, voters are unwillingly coming to polling stations. The main reason is fear for own safety due shelling by militants before," he said.
He said that the lowest voter turnout was seen in Severodonetsk – 16.1%, and the highest turnout was registered in Bilovodsk district – 29.6%.
