Several Ukrainian troops killed in clashes near Luhansk
Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko has said that several Ukrainian troops were killed as a result of clashes at a Ukrainian army roadblock near the village of Smile, Slovianoserbsky district in Luhansk region.
"Regrettably, during the massive shelling and fierce fighting at this site, our troops sustained losses: in particular, one Aidar battalion fighter was killed, as were a military member of the 95th brigade and several fighters from other Ukrainian units, who were defending the roadblock. The exact number of losses is currently being verified," Lysenko said at a briefing on Monday.
