36 arrested after clashes outside Rada – police

Law enforcers have detained 36 people suspected of involvement in mass disturbances outside the Ukrainian parliament building on Tuesday.

"On October 14, mass events took place near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine... Law enforcement officers arrested 36 people on suspicion of committing offences," reads in a statement posted on the Interior Ministry's Web site.

According to the press service of the Interior Ministry, the reports about injured law-enforcers continue coming in, their number is being specified. "There is yet no information about the injured participants of the disturbances," the statement reads.
