Rada passes law on creation of National Anti-Corruption Bureau
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the law submitted by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
A total of 278 out of the 303 MPs registered in the parliament's session hall on Tuesday voted for this document, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
"This law defines a system of specially authorized entities in the field of fighting corruption, the legal foundation for their activities, the procedure of their interaction with other government agencies, as well as legal basis for the organization and activities of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine," the document says.
