Yatseniuk hopes Rada will pass on October 14 law depriving prosecutor's offices of general supervision function
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk hopes for the adoption of the law depriving the prosecutor's offices of their general supervision functions.
"We hope that tomorrow the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will vote for the new wording of the law of Ukraine on the public prosecutor's office. This should have been done a long time ago, namely prosecutor's offices should have been deprived of their post-Soviet corruption function - the general supervision function," he said at an extended meeting of the government in the Supreme Court on Monday.
