Kyivenergo to repay UAH 1.2 bln debt to Naftogaz by late 2014 – finance director
PJSC Kyivenergo intends by the end of this year to repay the debt to Naftogaz Ukrainy for the supplied natural gas in the amount of UAH 1.2 billion, Company Chief Financial Officer Tetiana Hriaznova has said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
According to her, such arrangements comply with the agreed schedule of debt repayment approved by the companies and Kyiv City State Administration on October 8.
"Today we say that by the end of the year UAH 1.2 billion of debt for gas will be repaid in accordance with the schedule," she said.
Hriaznova stressed that a further gas supply to the objects of Kyivenergo would depend on the current discipline of consumers' payment for electricity and heat.
"Kyiv City State Administration, Kyivenergo and Naftogaz have agreed on the debts. Now we will start all current consumption with a clean slate," she said.
