Ukrainian and Polish border guard, customs officers register 112 trucks with German humanitarian aid to Ukraine
A total of 112 trucks with humanitarian aid from Germany for internally displaced persons from the Donbas entered the territory of the Yahodyn border checkpoint to undergo customs and border procedures in Ukraine, Deputy Head of the State Fiscal Service Anatoliy Makarenko has said.
"This is real humanitarian aid: module houses for displaced persons, electric generators, etc. I would say that this is very powerful aid. Administrative customs and border procedures were passed on the territory of Poland, and German [trucks] are entering the territory of the Yahodyn border checkpoint," he said, speaking at a meeting of the public council at the State Fiscal Service on Tuesday in Kyiv.
He also said that at night on October 7, 112 trucks from Germany entered the Dorohusk-Yahodyn from Poland and the relevant procedures jointly with Polish border guard and customs officers were conducted.
