A delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is to arrive in Kyiv in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to the ICRC representative office in Ukraine.
Senior ICRC officers are flying in tonight, the press service the organization informed Interfax-Ukraine.
The delegation will include the ICRC head of operation for Europe and Central Asia, Laurent Corbaz, and his deputy Regis Savioz, the source said.
The visit program is still being finalized but already involves meetings between the delegation members and Ukrainian executive officials, as well as working meetings with representatives from the ICRC mission in Ukraine.
The ICRC suspended its operations in Ukraine earlier after one its employees, Swiss national Laurent Du Pasquier, was killed in Donetsk.
